In 2026, to optimize its production process structure, raise the intelligent manufacturing level of glass molds and strengthen its core market competitiveness, Xinzhi launched a dedicated technical upgrading and transformation project with a cumulative investment of nearly RMB 4 million, introducing more than ten sets of high-end precision intelligent processing equipment, including 6 five-axis machining centers, 4 high-precision CNC lathes, 1 six-axis EDM hole-drilling machine and 1 five-axis laser welding machine. By the end of August, all equipment on the procurement list set at the beginning of the year had arrived at the plant, marking the successful completion of the hardware phase of the upgrade.
The newly introduced five-axis machining centers are mainly suited to fine machining of characters and customized patterns in the inner cavities of glass molds, and can efficiently complete integrated machining of molds with complex curved surfaces and special-shaped structures. Compared with traditional processing methods, the equipment enables multi-process integrated production with a single setup, greatly shortening process transfer time, effectively avoiding machining errors caused by repeated clamping, and significantly improving the machining precision and delivery efficiency of special-shaped molds. Two five-axis machining centers are already in operation, while the remaining four are being commissioned and are expected to complete commissioning and enter trial production in mid-September.
The four high-precision CNC lathes introduced as supporting equipment have been fully put into operation. They mainly undertake precision turning of main products such as bottle body molds and bottle neck molds, complementing the five-axis machining centers and building an integrated turning-milling machining system, effectively increasing the production scale and product qualification rate of glass molds.
The six-axis EDM hole-drilling machine has been officially put into operation. It can efficiently solve the difficult processing of multi-angle, high-difficulty and high-density vent holes, overcome the process bottleneck of vent structures in complex molds, and fill the gap in processing molds with special structures.
The five-axis laser welding machine has been officially put into operation. Based on five-axis linkage control technology and the laser cladding process, the equipment performs alloy strengthening on core components such as bottle body molds and neck molds, upgrading the quality of mold spray welding and cladding, effectively extending mold service life and meeting the diverse laser strengthening process needs of the high-end market.
With the implementation of this technical upgrade project, Xinzhi's ability to undertake complex customized orders will leap forward, further expanding into market segments such as cosmetic packaging molds and daily-use vessel molds, continuously improving its product matrix and steadily enhancing mold product quality and delivery capability, laying a solid hardware foundation for the company's long-term high-quality development.
